as it rushes along.

the spreading pool -
black in moonlit woods.

Spider, still,
   at gossamer center,
      feeling faint vibrations.

Moss spotted memorials
under full moon.
   Leaves rustle.

Friends sharing
a brief lull:
unconcerned birds among the litter.

Pacing out
the day's tasks -
oil stained parking lot.

   Jewel in the dew.
Four wings are better
to a dragonfly.
