Dark back rises,
   slides into the swell,
      beneath a vapory plume.

Fog promenades,
   meandering
among
   beach walkers.

The fly is cornered -
the buzzing wings are still now
as the cat's tail flicks.

Spider, still,
   at gossamer center,
      feeling faint vibrations.

Fox slides past ruins,
    tucked into the canyon walls,
        silent as the snow.
