White wind flows -
      rapid movement mirage
            on tundra.

Neon lights roaring
on a scene of desperate joy;
    then, a man sneezes.

A shadow shivers,
looks with gold eyes at the new.
   Welcome to your new home!

A best friend curls close
his purr completing the cycle.
Farewell, my dear Nemo.

A clouded moon glows.
   The wind sighs in the old barn,
      silent wings take flight.

In Autumn forest
   a frost-coated branch cracks.
Somewhere an owl screams.

White noise rolls
   with the blue-grey waves,
      encouraging no thoughts.
