Crotach's Haiku
03 June, 2020
An osprey's keening
brings to mind cool lakes and streams
as we wait for rains.
31 May, 2020
my toes, beneath
a canopy of breeze-blown
grass: watching the lake shimmer.
The mist from my hose,
diamonds mixed with dust, rising
from the arid soil.
27 April, 2020
Through pink spring breezes
a peregrine sideways-slips
as through a closing door.
13 May, 2019
Bees and butterflies
have arrived - thank goodness I
have herbs and dandelions!
even in these pine woods:
after rain - such shades of green
delight, and calm, me.
Too many inputs
have led me to hit my wall.
Time for the forest.
